Born and raised in Italy, I had an enjoyable childhood in which I tasted several unconventionals hobbies, sports and activities that for some unclear reason I nevermore continued.
Although I had it pretty easy in school, I always struggled with studying and I early realised that traditional education wasn't really for me.
So, I dropped out from school as soon as I could to start working.
Later on, at the age of twenty-one, after feeling quite stuck on the wrong path I moved abroad pushed by both the urge of experiencing something different and the dream to start a new career in design.
Still uncertain about what I was heading to, I suddenly found myself in the UK absorbed into the amusing English culture in which I soon felt surprisingly comfortable.
So comfortable that I quickly decided to enrol at Shillington College; an unconventional worldwide institution in which students learn industry-relevant skills at an unimaginable pace.
While absorbing every ounce of possible knowledge about design, I fell in love with the distinct society in which I was living. Mainly, the diversified community of Manchester made me realise and genuinely appreciate the value of knowing and discovering others.
Once graduated, my enthusiasm towards the automotive industry brought me to south Germany, where thrilled by the upcoming opportunity to learn more about electric vehicles, I joined the very new design studio of ebikes' pioneer brand, Haibike.
Besides the progressive and dynamic work environment, of that time, I happily remember the passionate people with whom I shared this experience. Moreover, their vision of a more balanced and pleasing work-life inspired me.
Ultimately, my insatiable appetite for technology and digital products took me to Milan where I'm currently working as User Experience Designer at AKQA.
In facts, I joined the UX team aiming to improve while working with respected and well-known clients, most of which, still related to the automotive industry.
